Open end of a corroded cast-iron drain line in a trench before replacement

Hydro jetting · Miami, FLClogs scoured out, not poked through.

High-pressure water run through the line to strip out grease, scale and roots, so the drain stays open after we leave.

Hydro Jetting

What hydro jetting does

A snake punches a hole through a clog.

Hydro jetting washes the whole pipe clean.

A hose with a jet nozzle goes into the line through a cleanout and works its way down.

The water fires backward and sideways, scrubbing the pipe wall from side to side as it moves.

Grease, soap scum, scale and thin roots break loose and wash out to the main.

That is why a jetted line tends to stay open longer than a line that was only snaked.

It is the right tool when the same drain keeps backing up, or when several drains slow down at once.

What it covers

Hydro Jetting, covered end to end.

  1. 01

    Kitchen grease lines

Years of cooking grease coat the inside of a kitchen line. Jetting strips it back to the pipe wall.

  2. 02

    Main sewer lines

When toilets, tubs and sinks all slow down together, the main is usually the problem. We jet it clear.

  3. 03

    Root intrusion

Thin roots that find a joint get cut and flushed out. Heavy roots get found on camera first.

  4. 04

    Scale and buildup

Mineral scale narrows old pipe over time. Jetting knocks it loose so water has room to move.

  5. 05

    Repeat clogs

If a drain was snaked last month and it is slow again, the line needs cleaning, not another hole.

  6. 06

    Homes and businesses

Houses, condos, restaurants and shops. Any building with a drain line and a way into it.

The honest answer

When jetting is the right call

Jetting is the right call for grease, scale, soft buildup and roots that have only started to get in.

It is not the answer for a pipe that has collapsed, cracked open or rusted through.

That is why the camera goes in first when a line is old or the problem keeps coming back.

If the camera shows a broken section, you hear about it before any water goes in the pipe.

If the line is sound, jetting cleans it, and the camera can show you the result.

Why Miami lines clog the way they do

A lot of older homes around Miami still drain through their original cast-iron pipe.

Cast iron rusts from the inside, and that rough wall catches grease and paper as it goes by.

Big trees and wet ground send roots hunting for any joint that has opened up.

Heavy summer rain can push a tired line past its limit, and that is when backups happen.

Jetting clears what has built up, and the camera tells us whether the pipe itself has life left.

Questions

Hydro Jetting questions.

Still wondering? Call (305) 834-1588, any hour.

Is hydro jetting safe for old pipes?

For sound pipe, yes.

On older or damaged lines we look with the camera first, so a weak section is never jetted blind.

How is jetting different from snaking?

A snake opens a path through a clog.

Jetting washes the full width of the pipe, so the buildup is gone, not just pierced.

Do I need a cleanout?

A cleanout makes it easier.

If you cannot find yours, tell us when you call and we will find a way into the line.

Can you come at night or on a weekend?
